Avengers: Endgame is now in theaters and as much as you would want to avoid spoilers of the superhero mashup, the internet will catch up to you one way or another. Unless, Google’s Easter egg hidden in Search wipes out all the information before you get to it.
Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame fever seems to have gripped Google and typing in a query for Thanos results in the Infinity stone-studded gauntlet appear in the upper right corner within a Search card. Tap on the gauntlet and you will see your Search results randomly start getting crushed to dust, just like half the world’s population did when Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War.
Thanos believes that the world could do without half its population because of the universe’s depleting resources. In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos snaps his gauntlet covered fingers and just like that, half of the Avengers and the world’s population turns to dust. Seeing this happen with your Search results is kinda cool, but also kinda scary.
Want to get your results back? Well, all you have to do is tap on the Infinity Stone-studded glove one more time and voila! all your Search results are restored. Will the same happen to the lost population and Avengers in the new movie? Well, for that, head onto your nearest theater, that is, if you are lucky enough to get your hands on good tickets.
