As the Avengers: Endgame fever starts to grip the Indian audience, Oppo is giving an opportunity to fans of the heroic team to celebrate the success of a decade long movie saga by launching a special variant of the phone. The company is unveiling the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition phone in India today and the launch coincides with today's release of the movie in India.
The Oppo F11 Pro Marvel's Avengers Limited Editioin will be available on Amazon and the Oppo online store. Both the platforms have made live a microsite as well as a ‘Notify Me’ button of the special variant of the phone. The Avengers Edition phone will have two major changes from the standard Oppo F11 Pro: the storage capacity and the design on the back panel. While standard Oppo F11 comes with 64GB onboard storage, the special edition will ship with 128GB local storage.
As for the design, the back panel of the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition phone will come with Avengers-inspired gradient glossy body finish featuring the company’s signature gradient hexagonal pattern. The limited edition device will be available in Blue. Oppo is also giving away a Captain America-inspired back case that has the character’s iconic shield. The shield can be used as a phone stand.
According to the Chinese company, everything in the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition box will come with a thermo printed classic Avengers logo, and a stamped collector’s badge. As of now, the company hasn’t revealed the pricing of the phone and the date of availability in the country.
Oppo F11 Pro Specifications:The Oppo F11 Pro sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display and a pop-up selfie mechanism, which delivers a 90.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the phone has a MediaTek Helio P70, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Oppo F11 Pro has a rear dual-camera setup which includes the flagship Sony IMX586 sensor which can capture 48MP images. It is paired with a 5MP depth sensor to offer portrait photos. On the front, there is a pop-up or ‘rising’ mechanism that has a 16MP Sony sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone houses a 4,000mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0. The company claims that the phone can charge 49 percent in 30 minutes and charge fully in 80 minutes. There's Hyper Boost technology which is claimed to improve app launch speed times by 20 percent. The phone runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie, and has a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor.
