Huawei has confirmed that it will launch the Huawei Y9 Prime on August 1 in India. A teaser has already appeared on Amazon India suggesting that the phone will retail on the e-commerce website. The mid-range phone has already been launched in China, and is priced between Rs 16,000 and Rs 18,000. The handset is expected to be priced in the same bracket. However, there is no concrete information about the price of the device yet.
Huawei Y9 Prime specificationsThe Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ LCD display that delivers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is equipped with an Octa-core Kirin 710F processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes with two storage options - 64GB and 128GB. In the camera department, the phone sports a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 16MP pop-up camera for selfies. The entire package is powered by a 4000mAh battery, and the phone runs EMUI 9 baked on Android 9 Pie.
