Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy Note10+ was launched with support for 45W charging. This requires a 45W USB Type-C charger with USB Power Delivery 3.0 with Programmable Power Supply (PPS). While the company doesn’t include the 45W charger in the box, it looks like the super fast charging support could expand to the A-series of smartphones soon. Samsung is yet to ship the 45W charger globally, but the official page of the product has listed two new upcoming smartphones under the list of “compatible models.”

Samsung is calling the 45W charging “super fast charging 2.0.” The product listing page shows the upcoming Galaxy A91 and Samsung Galaxy A90 5G smartphone under compatible models for super fast charging 2.0 and super fast charging, respectively. Hence, the Galaxy A91 could support 45W fast charging technology, while the Galaxy A90 5G could have the Note10-like 25W fast charging capabilities.

The Samsung Galaxy A91 is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch display with an in-screen camera positioned at the centre just like the Galaxy Note10-series. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. In contrast, the Galaxy A90 5G is said to sport 6.7 inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display and “exclusive tilt OS” technology. It might also feature a triple camera setup with 48MP, 12MP, and 5MP sensors.

Previously, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G was reportedly spotted on Geekbench. The phone is said to sport a model number SM-A908N, which suggests flagship level specs like Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android Pie. It is worth noting that Samsung has never used a flagship chipset on an A-series device. However, with the limited availability of 5G on flagship chipsets, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Galaxy A50 5G comes with Snapdragon 855 chipset.

The release date of both the devices are not yet. However, they are expected to launch sometime in October.
