In July, Honor launched the Honor 9X alongside the Honor 9X Pro in China. Now, Country President Charles Peng has revealed that the phone is all set to make its way to India. Moreover, Peng has revealed that the recently launched Honor Vision Smart TVs with Harmony OS will go on sale in India in Q1 2020. The same was indicated by the company during the launch event.
During an interview with the Press Trust of India, Charles said, “We are going to launch Honor 9X by the end of this year in India. It will be on Android.” The phone will launch with Google apps and Play Store as it was first introduced in July, before the Huawei ban.
Honor 9X features a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It has a pixel density of 391PPI. The smartphone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset. It comes with up to 6GB RAM. Further, it has two storage options, 64GB and 128GB. Plus, the smartphone is equipped with a microSD card slot so the storage can be expanded by up to 512GB.
On the optics front, Honor 9X sports a dual rear camera setup: 48MP with f/1.8 aperture lens + a 2MP shooter. It comes with a 16MP selfie shooter that has an f/2.2 aperture. It was launched with EMUI 9.1.1 based on Android 9 Pie.
Honor 9X packs a 4000mAh battery. The smartphone measures 163.1mm x 77.2mm x 8.8mm and weighs 206gm. In the connectivity department, Honor 9X comes with Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and more. Additionally, the smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
