Redmi K30 5G was launched in China alongside the 4G variant last month. Now, it looks like the company is looking forward to bring the smartphone to China. The Redmi K30 5G has reportedly been certified by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India. The development indicates the Indian launch of Redmi K30 could be just around the corner. It appeared on the certification agency on January 9th with model number M2001G7AI, which belongs to the Redmi K30 5G. To recall, Redmi K30 4G appeared on BIS late last month.
Redmi K30 5G features a 6.67-inch display. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with support for built-in 5G stand-alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. The smartphone comes in four variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256 GB variant. All the models have the option of expandable memory of up to 512GB.
In the optics department, Redmi K30 5G sports a quad rear camera setup: a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with an f/1.89 aperture + an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture + a 2MP depth sensor + 5MP macro sensor. On the front lies a 20MP + 2MP selfie shooter.
Redmi K30 5G runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10. It comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. It comes in White, Blue Red and Purple colours.
Redmi K30 5G price in China starts at 1999 Yuan (Rs 22,160 approx.) for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
