GOQII has launched a new wearable called the Vital 3.0. The new wearable features sensors that can detect body temperature. As such, the company claims that the wearable can be used in the battle against COVID-19 Coronavirus by detecting an increase in body temperature. The company claims that it has partnered with German health tech startup Thryve to conduct a clinical study in India to detect COVID-19 infections earlier than testing.
The GOQII Vital 3.0 features an inbuilt temperature display and thermal sensor. The band is said to offer a temperature range of 77°F to 113°F with an accuracy of +/- 0.3°F. Besides this, the device can also track other things like heart rate, blood pressure, sleep, all-day activity, and steps.

GOQii Vital 3.0 will be available in India in phases and on an immediate basis for frontline workers, government & private enterprises and some units will be available for the public. Plans are underway to launch in the US, UK, Australia, Japan, UAE, Singapore and other countries.
