Sony has launched two new BRAVIA TV series in India the X8000H and X7500H. Both series bring with them 4K resolution, support for HDR, and run on the Android TV OS. Let's dive in and look at the specifications, screen sizes, resolution, connectivity options, pricing, and availability of the two series. 

Sony BRAVIA X8000H screen sizes, specifications, and features

Kicking things off with the X8000H, the TV is available in three screen sizes - 49-inches, 65-inches, and 85-inches. The TV is powered by Sony’s X1 4K HDR processor and brings with it Sony’s Triluminos Display technology. The TV supports 4K and HDR including Dolby Vision. For Audio, it supports Dolby Atmos as well. The TV boasts of narrow bezels and a new slim blade stand. It runs on Android TV 9 out of the box giving you access to the Play Store along with all popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Videos, Disney+ Hotstar, and more. In addition to coming with a Google Assistant-enabled remote control in the box, the TV can also be controlled by an Alexa enabled speaker that you may have in your house. It also supports AirPlay so you can stream Apple TV+ content along with content from your iOS device to the TV. The TV also boasts of Sony’s X-balanced speaker but this feature is available on TVs larger than 55-inches. Running on Android, the TV also supports Chromecast built-in.

Coming to the specifications of the X8000H comes with support for Wi-Fi along with ethernet to connect to the internet. It also comes with Bluetooth 4.2. It has 4 HDMI ports all of which support HDCP 2.3 along with support for HDMI ARC. It also has an optical port and a 3.5mm port. It comes with 2 USB ports as well. The TVs boast of 20W of sound output and come with 16GB onboard storage. 

The 49-inch variant of the TV is an edge-lit TV whereas the 65 and 85-inch TVs come with direct backlighting. 

Sony BRAVIA X8000H price and availability

The 85-inch X8000H is priced at Rs 5,99,990, while the 65-inch X8000H is priced at Rs 1,39,990. Both models are available online and offline. The 49-inch variant of the TV will launch later this year.

Moving over to the Sony BRAVIA X7500H, the TV is available in three screen sizes - 43-inch, 49-inch, and 55-inch. The TV is powered by Sony’s X1 4K processor and brings with it Sony’s Triluminos Display technology. The TV supports 4K and HDR but does not support Dolby Vision. The TV runs on Android TV 9 out of the box giving you access to the Play Store along with all popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Videos, Disney+ Hotstar, and more. The TV comes with a Google Assistant-enabled remote control in the box. The TV also boasts of Sony’s Bass Reflex speakers. Running on Android TV, it also supports Chromecast built-in. The TV does not support Apple AirPlay.
