OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 7T in India. Now, at an event in London today, OnePlus has taken wraps off the OnePlus 7T Pro. The company has also launched a special McLaren edition of the smartphone. Moreover, OnePlus has announced that OnePlus 5 and newer models will get the Android 10 update. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition is the same in terms of specs - apart from the 12GB RAM - as the regular variant. Here is everything you need to know about the latest smartphone from OnePlus.
OnePlus 7T Pro specificationsThe OnePlus 7T Pro features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels at 516 PPI and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Like its predecessor, the new device is also equipped with a display that has a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset runs Android 10 out of the box, which means it has new gallery that, according to OnePlus offers over 370 powerful optimizations that improve overall performance, animations, visuals, gestures, and unlocking speed.
The OnePlus 7T Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, paired with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
OnePlus 7T Pro packs a 4085mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology. OnePlus claims that its charging speeds are up to 23% faster than the last generation’s technology. It also features dual stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. It has OnePlus' Reading More, Night Mode, Zen mode and more. The Zen Mode encourages healthy screen-time balance and temporarily disables certain notifications and apps.
In the optics department, the OnePlus 7T Pro sports a triple rear camera setup: a 48MP primary Sony IMX 586 sensor with f/1.6 aperture + an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture + a 16MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The main sensor and telephoto lens also feature optical image stabilization It can record super slow motion 720p video at 480 fps, 720p video at 960 fps and 1080p video at 240 fps. The rear camera also comes with features like UltraShot, Nightscape, Portrait, Pro Mode, Panorama, HDR, AI Scene Detection and more. On the front lies a 16MP selfie shooter.
On the sensor front, OnePus 7T Pro has an accelerometer, electronic compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, sensor core, and laser sensor.
The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition has the same specifications, but it comes with 12GB RAM instead of 8GB. Further, the OnePlus 7T Pro will be made available in Haze Blue colour, whereas the McLaren edition sports a special design on the back.
